Jeremiah Johnson is a very quiet movie that probably would not get made today. This is the type of drama that is no longer written. People are not patient enough to watch a film that 's quiet and the pace is slow and the characters develop slowly. People today don't want to watch a movie that washes over them. They want something that's going to slap them in the face in the first ten minutes. Look at Broadway, nothing but musicals. This type of drama won't "pay off" enough to play on Broadway.

ahhh perhaps it's because he killed alot of Crow Indians, hence the name Crow Killer. Unless you care to share more what Grandpa told you.
He deserves it? If someone killed by wife regardless, I'd take revenge and I'd enjoy it. =)
