Rewriting your flash website /component to support touch it's easier than rewriting the whole thing in html5.

But yeah , apps > flash.

  • @xleo21

Flash is useless on touch devices as the animations usually require a mouse, in order to interact. IPAD is TOUCH, applications are better than websites in general.

  • This is brilliant. It's a great transition from print - Digital Interactive Magazine experience must remain consistent with the real experience. See how we innovated a new way of delivering the experience for Prestigious Venues Magazine.

  • What is the song behind this video?

  • breaking all the rules? reinventing the way consumers interact with magazines? please. this doesn't look that different than what's existed online for a decade with the exception of a touchscreen interface!

"There's a revolution going on right now in the way that people consume journalism. One thing that we've been great at doing is telling stories... This is just adding one more avenue of communicating and connecting with the brand of Wired... We really would like to offer more choices to our readers and to our advertisers and move beyond just the static notion of ink on a piece of paper." ~ Scott Dadich (Creative Director, WIRED)
