Mike Huckabee is a top tier candidate. He placed 2nd at the Iowa straw poll, his poll numbers are on the rise in primary states,(even beating other "front runners"), and he does awesome in all the debates. Huckabee CAN beat Hillary and will, if people will vote for the REAL southern conservative!!!

my problem with a statement like this is that he says "We believe ..." and then talks about the laws he helped make, dictating what other people can and cannot do based on his personal opinions.

research what fascism is. Bush platformed under the same thing as Huckabee and look what we have now. Islamic terrorists don't want to destroy our freedom. Freedom can't be destroyed, nor can democracy. We destroy our own freedom but giving up our rights to be "safe". I was more safe before 9/11 than I am now. I'd rather live with my freedoms and worry about someone 6,000 miles away then give up my freedoms to fight a war that can't be won. terrorism is also committed by governments.

Accusing a Presidential candidate of supporting the "killing" of U.S. soldiers while at war is analagous to claiming that President Lincoln supported the killing of Union soldiers in the Civil War. Regardless of your views on the Iraq war, a logical person does not confuse the goals of war with support for self destruction. But then again, it appears that the more extreme groups in our country fail to recognize the self-destructive elements of their anti-U.S. platform anyway...
