Wolfwood Lives a Lie

After my Knives one I said I was inspired to make a Wolfwood and a Rem amv, so here's the Wolfwood one!! Rem won't probably be for awhile yet...I have a lot of amvs planned and owed. Spoilers probably...considering Wolfwood doesn't even come into the story until episode nine. But I managed to be just about the only one who didn't use that one scene, anyone who's seen another Wolfwood amv knows what I'm talking about. Well, I did use a small piece of it, but I don't think you can tell. That one scene didn't make me cry when I first watched it, (may have had something to do with a certain Knives there with me when I saw it for the first time) but making this video almost made me, since I watched some very sad clips of him over and over while trying to find footage.

I think I have a deeper understanding of his character now too. And I realized that I have quite a lot of quotes memorized. And I should watch more....the more I watch of this show the more I want...even though I've seen it all. But there might be a movie!!! Think of that! A DragonLance AND a Trigun movie???!! Wicked cool, I say.

Oh, and I did use some humor, even though I realize there is none in the song. Wolfwood isn't always so serious, he has quite the dry sense of humor, so I incorporated that into it.

Anywho, yes, this is a tribute to Wolfwood. He is one of the best characters ever made. Also one of the most complex, which is why this song fits him so well. I would love to rant about how much I love him, but as I don't think anyone really reads this far and I doubt that anyone would care, I will try to stop myself for once...unlike most of my amvs. But it is a subject I'm always up for to talk about. I love this show.

Also, most Wolfwood amvs I have seen tend to either focus soley on Wolfwood himself, his relationship with Vash, or his relationship with Millie. I tried to do all of these, and the song was definitely long enough to allow it.

Gah, this was my first techno amv, and probably my most ambitious project, with all the repetition, instrumentals, and down beats to follow, not to mention those quick flashes, to date. Ha, and it's so technicolor at times that I wonder if it won't cause seizures. I thought it might give me one making it, heh. It probably has about as much of a chance as DDR does. On that note, this took me quite awhile. Enjoy!!

It is really cool. It's my favorite show of all time. Well, actually if you search youtube for Trigun episode and then the number you're looking for you should be able to find them, or you can buy the dvds over the internet (like my friends did for me ^^)
