This is a very cool piece! Vinyl ripping just got a whole lot easier so I'll be doing a lot of that from now on.

  • biterate @ 128 is terrible. especialy if you play on a large soundsystem or night club. trust me rip your vinyl the traditional way with a good phono preamp & neddles @ WAV format. if you want to convert the WAV files to mp3 use razorlame @ 256kpbs to 320kpbs. and just use itunes to tag your files. it will be more work. but you will be more happy in the long run. :)

  • They just put out a downloadable 192 bitrate upgrade for this machine. I'll do a video on this in a little bit.

  • like it!, saves using audacity!, but is it good as i have never liked belt drive. mmmmm J

  • Well, it's not for mixing really. It's for recording vinyl to MP3

  • im sorry to brake it guys

    but you dont need one

just record your vinyl by buying a rca to head phones jack (what fits in your mic input)

then use recording software like audacity

its cheap and not as good as one of those turntables but it works :)

  • No, you don't NEED it, but it does make things easier. It's a fact that most DJs don't know how to set thier mixer for live sets let alone recording (look at any DJ's videos on Youtube and see that many clip thier MAIN and PFL constantly. I'm not badmouthing my counterparts, but this is the reality of it). This is pretty much idiot proof

  • @djalexd07 To be honest that would only work if your turntable has line out built in, if not you would need a preamp and the RIAA EQ, if not it sounds like shit.

  • i have this turntable(without usb conection)his immortal:)

  • Anyone knows if the american audio ttd 2400 usb is compatible with wind. vista?

  • Exactly, i also wanna know that :)

  • just grabbed one of these off eBay new for $134, man this turntable rocks!

  • yes, me.

  • Can you do scratches with it too while recording?

Or isn´t it good for the needle or something?

  • BEWARE would be brilliant BUT my 45s are recorded on too high volume = clipping. No volume adjustment. Anyone else have this problem?

  • Or, maybe it is the fact that some records are ment to be played at 33 and 1/3 not exactly 33 but record players have exactly 33 rpm?

  • AMAZING.
