Caring Christmas Trees - Aberdeen

When you buy just one Caring Christmas Tree you support Bethanys Winter Care Shelter. This provides shelter and food for homeless people in Aberdeen at a time when they need it the most.
For the cost of one tree, we can provide a homeless person with a hot meal, a bed for the night and advice.
The Winter Care Shelter is run by Bethany Christian Trust with the kind assistance of 24 churches and over 400 volunteers.
The Shelter will be open from January to March and offers hope and a future to the people who use this vital service. It saves lives and gives homeless people the opportunity to move off the streets and address life controlling issues.
During the trial fortnight (January / February 2009) 64 individuals accessed the service.
The three months of running the Care Shelter will cost £60,000. Any money raised over this sum through tree sales will be used to support our other vital work and expanding the services available in Aberdeen.
