@thehotshirtguy2008 ....I hear you...with all respects, I don't want to get bogged down on the infant mortality issue....I was (and to tell you the truth, I don't know why) trying to back up my point that life at the bottom is what is often used to describe how advanced a society is, or is not.

@ih8tbush According to the WHO, (World Health Organization not the music group lol) the US has the highest quality healthcare in the world. But not the most "fair". Sure, Cuba has a lower Infant mortality rate, but I don't see boat loads of Americans paddling down to Cuba on rafts...

@thehotshirtguy2008 taxpayers of all economic classes pay for government provided services that is true. Sometimes the degree of advancement of a society is measured from the bottom (infant mortality rate etc.)

McCain is not in support of vets. Just remember how he was not in support of the new GI Bill. He got an education before service but demended more time. Why? Cause his kid is in Annaopolis and he has cash for the others. Sad McCain. Sadder McCain/Palin.

Agreed. Watching McCains speech made me want to take a nap.  McCain keeps reminding us of him bing a POW not how he will fix our country. Not my fault he crashed 5 Navy planes and got caught. No disrespect for our veterans, but being in vietnam does not make you eligible to be president, nor does it teach you how to "Win Wars".

Kinggerald05, if you don't know what community organizers do, why are you so quick to disparage them? They don't catch GOP attention because the beneficiaries of their services are poor inner-city minorities who lack the means to use the system to their benefit. The C.O's keep the lights on, water running, police on the beat and other essential services to keep those at the very bottom form the abyss. It ends up making the difference between Chicago and Calcutta.

Hey Your Tube Act, please don't disparage the vets old, are new in a pro-Obama message. I'm glad you're pro-Obama, so am I. But we're not going to win respect, let alone converts by dishonoring those who serve. Please! We do no good unless Obama gets elected.
