I watched that clip and sye's strategy is exactly what Stephen law was describing. Extremely intellectually dishonest and it doesn’t distinguish one religious belief from another.

So...

1) They presuppose God exists because its impossible to prove God exists.

2) They do away with scientific evidence since God cannot be proven empirically, BUT...they will still use science when it suits them.

3) They admit using the Bible is circular but use it anyway because if they didn't, they wouldn't be able to use the Bible.

4) They admit God is not falsifiable because if he was, they would easily lose every debate.

Annnnd....people are convinced by ANY of this? Really? Really???

There's 66 books of the Bible! The Apocryphal books are not scripture inspired by God!

if she said "You've proved to me that this man rose from the dead. . . " That is completely false. There is zero proof that jesus even existed, let alone that he rose from the dead. If the Bible is proof that jesus rose from the dead, then Star Wars would be my proof that Tatooine is a real planet if I was high-enough-on-ecstasy to believe it. Every bible that is specified for each denomination contain a different number of books.

The Catholic bible contains 73.

The Protestant bible contains 66.

Just to clear that up.
