After 13 years, gaming's most elusive title, Duke Nuke Forever, has finally been saved from development hell by Gearbox Studios!

Kaleb Havens chats with John St. John, the voice of Duke Nukem, about the constant setbacks the game has faced. John St. John shares his confidence within the new team's ability to make a great (finished) Duke Nukem game. Of course, he's more than willing to share a few of his favorite lines from the upcoming game, as well.

Fans can expect to start kicking ass once again with Duke sometime this year.

  • I thought duke forever was an awesome game.

  • Hired a good voice actor for a bad game... What a shame...

  • hahahahaha 1:47

  • John St. John is such a kewl dude. He carries Brass balls in his pocket... come on.

  • epic meal time intro music lol

  • @HappyPantsEd Just as I'm not going to pretend it's bad just because everyone besides me thinks so. I'm not saying this game is perfect. Far from it. It's flawed but fun. It's fine if you don't think so. Not much else can be done about what I think of it though.

  • @HappyPantsEd So you don't have any problems with the gameplay mechanics, but you say it's unfun and unpolished. I'm aware some of the textures were less than pleasing, but that comes with dated tech that was meant for the original Xbox.

I don't believe it's perfect, nor do I defend what flaws it has. But it's certainly more fun and unique than a lot of games I've played this year. It's not even half as bad as the reviews said.

A small team with limited funds made this. Doubt it it was far off

  • @RockerHeade I'm not saying I'm above Duke and his humor. In fact, I like it and I find it funny. However, just because I'm a fan of Duke doesn't mean I can't have some criticisms about the game. George Broussard never had a clear vision for Duke and because of that, his game suffered. I'm not gonna bend over and pretend that this game was good cause it wasn't. It had its moments but at its best Duke was a generic shooter that was only mildly entertaining because of Duke's borrowed one-liners.
