  • can you dehydrate a steak if so do you cook it first

  • Sure you can --just cook it and slice it up in 1/4 inch thick strips

  • All that grease is going to coat your pipes - could end up with a grease plug and nasty things backing up into your house. Our HOA had one house ruined and two other near misses from grease plugs. We narrowly missed getting sued. The flooring, sub-floor, trim, drywall, heating vents, visqueen and soil under the house had to be removed - out of their house for months. Make a foil boat and drain into that, cool then toss in the trash or pour into a can. CAN THE GREASE! Luv UR Vids, Tinny!! :)

  • Dehydrated food that is properly packaged and stored can last for 30 years.

  • Thanks for the great video tinny it was was very detailed and informative. i follow the instructions as best i could i cook the meat(88/12) and let it drain. Then i put the ground beef between paper towel and let it dry completely. But i had it in the dehydrator for 2 days It crunchy and dry inside but it very oily outside. Where do you think i went wrong. I appreciate your input. Thanks
