  • sorry for her loss,

  • @tuxthelux So sorry for your loss

  • noel was my friend and workmate for many years, i still cry for her loss...this is a very moving tribute, ruthie, thank you

  • That was so sad, I'm sorry she lost her sister.

  • How does one with so much success in her life do this to those she leaves behind? Those that love her, why? It's so tragic and a complete waste of life!!! What do we do to prevent our loved ones from ending their lives so tragically?

  • Noel and I worked together on the same newspaper back in the 1980's. She had the most wicked and funny sense of humour and was a lovely person.

  • anyone know where to find this album? I searched for it on amazon, and only her first album came up... lame!

  • very sad story. very moving song by Cole Porter. Just read story of Noel Henshall who, after depression then a major injury, she OD's on rx pain meds. Initially it was thought an accident but sister, Ruth, says it was suicide. She also says, and I agree, that it was not selfish as one must be at the utter end of their tether and courage it takes to do whatever is it you would do to kill yourself. Also, emotional illness is far worse than physical, I think. No magic remedy. Sad, all around.

  • this is so delicate, I love it
