Opening Up The Whole "Bay Of Pigs" Thing - "Nixon" (1995)

Clips from Oliver Stone's movies JFK and Nixon explaining Nixon's code speak of the Kennedy assassination. Haldeman wrote in his book "The Ends of Power" that Nixon would always refer to the assassination as the "Bay of Pigs".

This isn't even speculation: Haldeman later wrote, himself, that while talking with Nixon he came to understand that "the whole bay of pigs thing' meant the JFK assassination. Haldeman was Nixon's closest advisor and best friend, he was the second most powerful person in the country, and he didn't like JFK at all. Plus, even without this movie, Nixon's words make so much sense in that code it's hard to dismiss it. I'm very, very inclined to believe that Haldeman was absolutely spot-on correct.

Several people have said that Nixon referre to the assassination as the "Bay of pigs thing". He also referred the the assassination and the "Texans" as being linked. Bush, Mossbacher, and Baker were the Texans.

true to form as the last liberal president, nixon's drug war actually focused more on the treatment rather than the incarceration of drug offenders. the drug war as it is today has its origins in Reagan's policies, not nixon's. drugs are as prevalent as ever, despite prohibition and harsh punishment. so your claim that nixon kept hard drugs off the streets is wrong on multiple levels. 1 it was never an objective of his, and 2, hard drugs are everywhere.

They paid Hunt to keep quiet about the Kennedy assassination. Nixon used the CIA to block the FBI from investigating Hunt over uncovering the Kennedy assassination. Why? Because Nixon is directly tied to it. Nixon was in charge of Operation 40. So is George H. W. Bush. So is Johnson. Maybe it was all three of them, the CIA using the Mafia, and the Cuban exiles. If people really knew everything behind it all, it would be the end as we know it.
