I was in juvi once for three days. Not something I'm proud of but also nothing where i can say I know exactly how it feels. But some of the kids I was in a block with had been there for such a long time. You could honestly tell which ones were sorry for what they had done. This is a good story because those kids really do start to lose some hope. Its nice to see people realizing that we all make mistakes sometimes, some worse than others, and we are all human

I just fond this story on the net - what you guys did is exactly what Jesus meant for us to do - seek out the rejected and despised and love them - not a mamby pamby love but a love that sometimes doesn't make sense
