James Taylor - You Can Close Your Eyes (Cover)

This is my first video upload. I'm a big James Taylor fan so I'll be doing a few covers. This is "You can Close Your Eyes" off the Mud Slide Slim album. The timing is off between the video and the audio, but oh well, first video. I'm hoping to get more originals on here, it's just going to take me a while.

Wow! As an experienced guitarist myself, I'd like to say that this performance and the artist(s) involved both deserve tremendous accolades. The guitar performance (chords, melody, fingerpicking) are as good as any I've seen for this great-great song, and the voice too absolutely spot-on. There simply isn't another cover out there of this deeply heartfelt lullaby that comes anywhere near as close as this one. Kudos x 10!
