his gun reminds me of magpul dyamics chris costas gun except his has a peq box probably is not a good idea to compare airsoft to real weapons though

yes, it gives it a dramatic increase in FPS and please check the video responce (where it shows towards the end of that video the differences on a short barreled M4) (longer barrels have a much bigger difference)

No it shouldnt since the design reduces all the internal gas resistance to hardly anything whilst keeping the recoil and gas consumption very similar. The only change on this is the shot's efficiency and consistency due to the reduction of internal resistance.
