Kennywood 1985 Raging Rapids Commercial with Jack Lambert and Myron Cope

This gem was created by MARC advertising, with whom I am not affiliated with in any way. I have uploaded it for those of use who never got to see this, since it will likely not be seen on TV ever again. Four score and seven years ago, in 1985, Kennywood was promoting its brand-new ride: the Raging Rapids! After their successful ad featuring former Steelers linebacker Jack Lambert in the 1983 and 1984 seasons, he was brought back, along with sportscaster Myron Cope (RIP) to promote the ride. Because the Raging Rapids was still under construction at this time, the commercial was filmed at King's Dominion in Virginia. I love Kennywood commercials as they are, but how cool would it be to see a Steelers tie-in nowadays?

This commercial was sooo cool!!!! I wish they would show it during the football season just for fun sometime. Thanks for uploading this. I like Kennywood's commercial this year. My dad and I get a kick out of the lady on the Log Jammer at the end, she acts really frightened. I've been on that and it isn't scary at all!!!
