That is one fine piece of engineering - just as impressive as the full size Tornado pacific recently built at a cost of £3million.
Not too sure about the blue livery they painted her with ( Hurricane ), but 1st class anyway.

yes that is true they did get damaged but there are loads of buffer casting in the railway workshops iv seen then ?

maybe the ones hurricane had before got damaged, and the only ones left were on Syns tender.

Is Hurricane going to be a A3 like Flying Scotsman?

Hurricane is based on an LNER A1 pacific, Flying Scotsman was an A1 pacific when first built but was reclassified an A3 after the addition of a higher pressure boiler.

Nice vid, according to my local paper, the Hurricane is due back in service on the 17th Feb (10:35 New Romney to Hythe).
