damn its amazing how he did that!! good job! i would have done the same if it was my parrot!
-
wow i can't beleive he climb the tree like that just to save hes bird, amazing
-
And that's why I stick with dogs and a handful of cats that don't like climbing.
-
I'm amazed Geronimo didn't fly away. He was probably frightened and just wanted to be with his owner again...
-
That is so lovely, how a man would do that for his own pet
-
I wonder how much taxpayer dollars went into that 5 hour rescue.....
-

Couldn't the bird just fly down? Anyway, good old USCG.

Birds have to LEARN how to fly -- pet birds never learn that in the average home and only know how to climb. Plus their DNA tells them that only "UP" is safe...not down...so this parrot was stuck up there and needed help...

what an intense story. i identify with the fella about his love for his big bird. i too love both of ours verey much. SO glad for the happy ending and YES! both Peaches and Albert have their wings clipped.

Except they could still climb...smile...just watch out for hawks! :>) Peaches and Albert look so happy on that big branch! Looks like they have been doing a little bark stripping, too! :>)
