  • So enjoyable to hear the same sound as it was wayback.

Great photos ... I bet there are some from the New Musical Express...I use to have them but they are gone with the time as well.

    Appreciate th ood sound :-)

  • @laggie24 ... thanks for listening

  • Hey balancedstereo thanks for uploading one of of my pubescent era faves! I always liked this song from the tight musical arrangement to the superb vocals these guys were just good! And the fact that it was a Jackie DeShannon song only enhanced its credibility! My 45rpm never matched the sound you have remastered, A+, 5*****'s, just too good!

  • @redsfanstu ... I've always loved it for the same reasons - thanks for the great comment

  • PS: This is a FEATURED VIDEO that was Selected by YOUTUBE for "Searches" !!

  • Thanks for the mix. I've always heard it in the old mono recordings and this is a pleasant rendition. Good on ya, mate.

  • @Baumholder72 ... thanks for liking the balanced sound restyling - cheers!

  • Compared to the original Mono this sounds tinny, echoey and lacks bite and meatyness, being far too "bright"=sorry but this is NOT an improvement

  • The 12 String PRICELESS

  • Searchers were good, underrated group.

  • there is something to be said for A song in mono coming out of an am car radio...that's how most of us first heard the songs.back then..but thanks for the remix, I love this song and Needles and Pins if those were the only two songs the Searchers ever released, forming the group would still have been worth it

  • a good group from a bygone era

  • Chris Curtis looks amazingly like the guitar player on the right, in the Billy J. Kramer live video "I'll keep you Satisfied" here on YT. The same person? Was he one of the Dakotas, or maybe filling in for the live show?

  • @TL250Rider I think they actually did it the hard way, two guitars tuned to sound like a 12 string when played together.
