Dont ask i just write em :)

It was eighteen years ago was the last time we said hello
And i felt such a fool asking you for a par cark ticket
Im no great big oak ive been chopped at the roots and i still smoke
And i heard you got the chance to roll the dice with the chemical romance

Injected with the flow
Of blue indigo
Injected with the flow
Of blue indigo.....indigo

And the butterflies they dance in a crushed powder juniper sunrise
And the flowers get the chance to give pollen to the bees in the meadow
And the birds look for romance making nests in the trees full of yellow
And i finally got my chance to roll the dice with the chemical romance

Injected with the flow
Of blue indigo
Injected with the flow
Of blue indigo.....indigo

  • brilliant work again, ithink you have enough good songs now for two albums, nevermind one!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey thanks a lot man,im almost there maybe a couple more then ill get some proper recording done :)

  • Oh I love it, I say par cark as a joke, and chish and fips deliberately! I was wondering where you were, hadn't seen anything for a little while. I have been inspired by you to finally buy a guitar, got to learn to play it now. I have been meaning to for years! Beverley

  • how cools that you got a guitar :D learn to tune it,learn the chords ABCDEFG and youve got about a 100 beatles songs covered hehe.chish and fips i totally forgot about that one makes me smile.all the best bev.

  • Great song Rob the words and the chords are so beautiful, the chorus is to die for, great work my friend.

  • lovely lovely songwriting, immediate sub-------found you via your collab with Bobbie.....she has not only a great EYE, but a great ear as well. :-) Laurie

  • I've listened twice now and man I'll listen a third time and a fourth but I'll give myself a break so it sounds even better when I return for a sample of the good stuff ^^

  • Gosh, some tasty melodic shifts here Chesterfield, do you prefer Chester for short? Lyrics are gold, melody is gold-ed-er and the whole package is gold-ed-est ;D

    I absolutely admire your songwriting.

  • heyy this is amazing! :)

  • find myself coming back to this one,

listening over and over again. that's the brilliance and beauty of some songs, i think, is how a lyric or few words, can have such personal and dif. meaniing, to each listener. . ."injected with the flow~of blue indigo" the places it takes us. great music, (to me) has the power to move or touch somewhere way deeper. than just a GREAT sound to it :) that's all for now.

    the end. ;)

  • I found a good free online tuner, and am starting slowly. We have a good guitar shop near us in Bedford, called Guitar Empire. I got a beautiful deep red coloured, steel stringed acoustic by Westfield.

  • hey great song, i really like its style, and its really unique. it has a upbeat, but in a way depressing, type of sound with lyrics that are clever and just awesome , keep it up!

  • hahaaa! nice way of putting it :P

yeah theres deffinatly somthing there that's really familier but original

  • hehe glad you liked that little touch caryl,i wasnt going to post this sing thinking the chorus didnt fit the song but glad i did now :D looking forward to our next musical adventure.

  • cheers dobby, you the man.sounding anything like some of those people you mention is an honour :) i think i took everyband in my album collection popped it in the blender and here i am :)

  • I like the chords in the chorus, they were a nice surprise. And yeah, the par cark this is pretty cute, I say it deliberately these days.

  • (Continued because i had alot to say :P)

i think thats what makes you so good, you'v got the skills of all my favorite artist's... Ben taylor, foo fighter's, Nirvana, jack johnson. theres such a wide undivided line in your skill it makes every song you produce sound different, interesting but still familier. This one brightend my evening after trying to Sort my computer out :) thanks man

  • lol! Par cark xD i cant tell you how many times i'v said that with out realising.

This one feels a little Ben Taylor'ish with out all the other instruments of course but the style's still there.
