Well I can't imagine replacing my keyboard with this (I'm typing like 80+ words/min and I'm very comfortable with it). However, I'll love to get one just for the pleasure of using my computer in my bed.. :). Nice gadget by the way!

im wondering if a version with a tap touchpad would work as well as a trackball. very innovative, tho id stick with my mouse and kb for gaming, it looks fun for casual use and browsing. I use a recliner as my computer chair and this seems like a nice fit. adding wireless makes it a seriously tempting buy for me.

I don't see why a tap touchpad wouldn't work as well as a trackball. Fewer moving parts too. Actually, the AlphaGrip is a perfect fit for sitting in a recliner while working on your computer. Unfortunately, we are probably a couple of years away from a wireless version. Either we must sell enough of our current model to generate the resources we need to produce one, or a wireless adapter for our current model, or we must convince an established company to produce one. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks. It's probably going to take us awhile to generate the resources we need to produce a wireless version or a wireless adapter for the current version, but we are going to try to convince an established company to work with us to bring a wireless iGrip to market.

Many AlphaGrip users split their time between a keyboard and their Grip. Here's an excerpt from a recent blog post:
I used to have a lot of pain in my hand and fingers and tried out various keyboards and devices... After a few weeks of training [on my Grip], I'm now using it for all computer related tasks (mixing, programming, ...) and alternate it with a regular Apple keyboard and mouse. Since they both stress my hand muscles differently, I never put extraneous strain on them anymore...

We have a few returns that we've tested, repackaged, and are selling for $79, including shipping. Send an email to support at alphagrip if you're interested.
