  • Shanti Donovan Shanti... But you talk way to much!...

Meditation relates to sitting in silence.

  • @john1000003

    Dear John,

Do not mix Meditation with Activity!

A real good & deep (effortless & easy) method of Meditation like Transcendental Meditation (TM) is good enough to let this deep silence & bliss flow into our day to day works/activities we have to do. Everything in life will become more valuable & joyful. This is what Donovan learned from Maharishi & me too!

    Cheers

  • donovan and the beatles went to see the maharishi . it was the end of their careers. makes you think

    Part 1

    @ffchatter

What a nonsense you are writing here! Still the Music of the Beatles are the most listened amongst mankind. They are remembered as the creators of a New Music style. After that Paul McCartney became very famous with his "Wings".

  • Part 2

George Harrison produced "My sweet Lord" etc. & Donovan was making about 12 more "LP's" after his stay in India wth his Master. All of them were jewels amongst the Troubadours & still he is rocking on & Paul too & still they are meditating. Last year they gave a big concert in supporting Maharishis Movement.

  • Slainte!

  • @prend01

    Good Health for you too!

    Slainte!

    Cheers

  • I used to play this song for my babies when they were still in my womb and in their nursery for many years as a lullaby. It was from a Donovan album called For Little ones, I believe. The entire album was meditative and awake. Wish it would re-release on DVD. Beautiful.

  • Love this song! Love his green guitar. Donovan is a wonderful musician and talented poet. Hearing his music does indeed transport you to "another place."

  • nice song beautifully played

  • : )

  • Me too with ours in and out of their Mom's womb. The song can also be found on "From a Flower to a Garden" his comb of the album you mentioned for kid's, and another disc of 'adult' tunes. Beautiful memories aMUSEher. On the other hand john1000003 : if you can't meditate while talking or listening or walking or being still or playing music or hearing music, then you don't get it yet. Keep trying brawley.

  • such control, restraint, poise, confidence, dignity, gratitude for the feeling in his experience -- subtle, simple, deep -- Donovan ever strong, a faithful voice, a lasting sign along the way, sensitive heart -- a special encouraging union with India: spirit music

  • @showtuneful

The Beatles shortly apologized to maharishi as the information was all wrong from the young woman...
