God Bless our dear Island and our Capital City London, and Cardiff and Glasgow - you can't have a proud to British festival anymore - what has happened to us we've all been duped and hoodwinked into toeing the line with this load of muck we have in Downing street, the Welsh assembly and the Scottish Parliament. They don't stand for the common man and woman in the street but for their own political carpet bagging ends!

The video was fantastic, but Noel Coward singing his own song was even better. I bought that recording in London on a visit in 1979. It had a rendition of 'Land of Hope and Glory' from the last night of the Proms on the opposite side. I think I found it in the gift shop at the V&A. I wore it out and haven't be able to find it on CD, but I prefer your video and I'll look for LoHaG here on YouTube to go with it.
