waw , this is stupid , u have absultly no idea about thermodynamics , people like these make the world stupider , WWAAW, if u dont know about a field , dont make an idiot outta urself man ,lol.

why do you want to cool a jet engine like that for your info it is already cooled , but do u mean cool the exhaust gases , that is impossible cause u need that explosion to make the back pressure to propel the plane forward, and a tank like that would exploded and vaporize in 10secs inside a jet engine.

But isn't his idea similar to that of a plasma generator? In that case he is talking about more energy, fuel efficiency and more oxygenated air coming out of the engine.... No idea that challenges preconceived thought is stupid, not challenging preconceived thought is pretentiously ignorant. Einstein and Tesla had differing thoughts on many scientific theories but were either one stupid? Their theories/ideas cast aside at times but both are held as great thinkers of their time.

@proconsulaugustus then you would have to carry an extra 100 gallons of water, since one gallon weighs about 8.5 lbs, that would be 850 extra pounds...not to mention a place to store it.

you actully dont want to cool it down, as that would reduce trust,

and that kind of colling would not be good for the metal

and that doesnt have enough serface area to cool such hot air to any cool tempture

How about this though? Water COULD be used in small bursts on military aircraft to reduce the ability of heat seeking missiles to hit it. By spraying 50-100 gallons at high pressure cold water behind the exhaust, it would quickly cool down the exhaust so that heat seeking missiles would be confused. You would have to add chaff (decoy flares) and evasive maneuvers and radar jamming. But it COULD be a useful tool if made feasible. 5 seconds before impact, drop 100 gallons and bank left. maybe

LOL. Isn't this guy an idiot? I really hope its a 7 year old thinking creatively, then I respect that. That was truly the stupidest idea I've ever heard. Lol. Fill the hot engine with water and it will cool down. haha..made my day.
