Yea, exactly. It's "supposed" to be a joke. It fails miserably and I find it amazing that anyone over the age of 9 can call this 'entertainment'.
But then again, it shouldn't be at all surprising that this comes from and is meant to appeal to an audience that prides itself on child-like thinking.
