  • for others: to remove the green text go to the tools tab, select the "indicator settings" sub-tab and take the tick out of "show status setting changes on screen".

Also in the keyboard tab on this you can secure the communications between your dongle and your keyboard so people can't read your key presses (only useful in public locations).

  • aye, sometimes that spazzes out if you are using something else that uses an overlay (ie games and video).

forgot to mention that, thanks :)

  • basically that's the model I was talking about when I mentioned that they are no longer using the usb pen drive format for the dongle and use some nasty molded option that seems to reduce range.

  • I haven't come across any issues so far with it.

After you remove the annoying functions in the SetPoint software such as a HORRIBLE green text when you push the function button you get 'Function Keys ON' over the screen in green text!!! Its horrible!!

  • Although it is a budget keyboard it is pretty good. Installed in about 2-3 Minutes (SetPoint Software) and works well, programmable functions and media keys etc, the connection can also be secured which I think is a good little feature. I am not so keen on the moulded design of the receiver, and it has TWO cables coming off of it, a PS2 Mouse cable and a USB cable and comes with a PS2 Keyboard adapter, but you can just use USB!

  • I had been worried about wireless mice and keyboard and thought, its about time I at least tried it. I have a logitech bluetooth wireless mouse and keyboard (Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 110). To be continued...
