One Hundred Years (HumanDoctor/Rose)

Okay. Superlongstoryvideo yay :)
And my first Human Doctor/Rose. So that's commendable as well, I suppose.

Before I go on and on about the story, I'd like to really quickly thank my friend (who shall be known as Vermin), for reading and replying to all of my mad texts at 2.00 in the morning as I tried to piece together a plot for this, and then had to deal with my manic excitment when I finally hit one that worked.

Alright. So. Here's how the story goes down:

The video catalogues the lives of the Human Doctor and Rose in their parallel universe.
Eventually, they have twin children, a boy called Sydney (Alex Pettyfer) and a girl called Verity (Emma Watson) [yes, I borrowed the names of the original Doctor Who producers].
BUT.
Their happiness is cut short one day when Rose gets a call from a doctor's office, informing her of her rapidly declining health (what has to be assumed is that several years have passed, as the children are teenagers at this point).
And I won't spoil anything beyond that ;)

This has always been a sort of vague idea in my head, ever since learning Rose would be returning and thinking of how interesting it could be to encorperate the scenes from the hospital in "Much Ado About Nothing". And then with the end of "Journey's End"...well, I had several ideas like the ending of this video floating around my mind for too long to continue ignoring.

AUDIO TRANSCRIPT for your own entertainment:

Doctor: "The one adventure I can never have."

Doctor2: "I've only got one life. I could spend it with you, if you want."
Rose: "You'll grow old at the same time as me?"
Doctor2: "Together."

Dr. Tom Milligan: "It's not good, I'm afraid."
--
Rose: "Hi."
Doctor2: "You okay? Rose?"
Rose: "Will you come 'round?"
--
Doctor2: "Be strong now."
Verity: *choking/crying sound*
Doctor2: "You need to hold on, d'you hear me? We've got things to do, you and me, eh? Eh? You've got to, come on. It can't end like this. All the things we've done, you and me."

And I made the decision that perhaps Sony Vegas 8 Pro might have been a better choice, as I like it oodles better than Movie Studio.

but also the first and second series of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Secret Smile, the Canterbury Tales' Miller's Tale, Much Ado About Nothing, Recovery, Blackpool, Torchwood's "Reset" for the flatlining in Rose's death scene, with Shadow in the North for Matt's bit and Ballet Shoes and Alex Rider: Stormbreaker for the bits with the kids.

Ahahah yeah, it's hard to believe it's been two years since I've made this!

I was waiting for Matt to begin before I started a second bit, and I haven't yet decided what it's going to contain or what I'm going to do about it.

I've been so busy lately, but I'm definitely adding it to my list of things to do in the near future! Cheers!

Aww, that was sweet! I'm not generally a big fan of Rose, and I was rather skeptical about the Human Doctor ending for her, but this was really well done!
