LOL! When you figure out how money grows on avacado trees, don't forget to share that secret with me. We'll buy more rides and guns! :-)

@xzibit82 Yeah, it should. Like I said above, getting the oil pan to fit around the stock x-member is the real challenge. Everything else is pretty straight forward. The stock cast-iron headers also work with a little modification to the collector flanges.

@nocki5oh I'm pretty sure you can leave the towers. The hardest part is making the oil pan fit around the x-member. If you make that work, the rest is easy.

Awesome! What's the redline?

@operafreddy about 6200, which is about stock for an LS1. I'd love to get an LS3 for it, and move the 1 into the '70s Chevy K/5 Blazer I'm picking up, but apparently we've not figured out how to make money grow on avacado trees yet...

@Classikstyle I've heard that when some people do LS swaps, they can use oil pans from different cars with LS motors, For example: Chevy Camaro, Pontiac g8, Pontiac GTO or maybe an SUV oil pan, or none in this case? Just wondering cuz Im interested in this swap and really like how urs looks but I'd like to keep the stock suspension.

@nocki5oh I used the stock camaro pan but shortened the sump by about an inch and a half. I could have left it alone had I raised the front of the engine by about 2 inches. I think the "easiest" solution is dry sump, but its by no means the cheapest. There's a new "LSX hotrod pan" that has the same measurements as my modification too I believe.
