I remember getting up @ 5am getting ready for work and I would play this song over and over. Cheryl has a beautiful and haunting voice. This ballad is off the hook. So many memories. So much love. Cheryl you are the BOMB!!!!!!

TRULY AN UNSUNG DIVA WITH AN AMAZING VOICE TO MATCH.
Always wanted to comment on this, i agree this is her BEST ballad by far of all time. Bette Midler's version was ok, but Cheryl knocks it out with that huge voice of hers. Worth getting her debut CD for this alone. I dare you not to get shivers when you listen to it.

Cheryl Lynn should have been a bigger star. I dont understand what happened. Daybreak was and still is simply beautiful. So was Hurry Home. I wonder where she is now.

What about "If This World Were Mine" and "Encore"?

Hey guys, I agree it's one of Cheryl's best, but on the same album (Got to Be Real), she had another ballad called "In Love". If you think you like Daybreak, you are in for a treat-trust!

In Love was not on the Cheryl Lynn album but the sophomore album "In Love".
