I think metallca does great covers of the misfits, I really like how they meshed the metal and punk vibes together. reminds me of motorhead and the ramones sometimes...

good cover too. Metallica were fans of the misfits, you can see in many concerts they played in the 80's they wore misfits shirts.

@ScottS949 Well Metallica is heavily influenced by the Misfits. Cliff Burton was a huge fan and he got James and Lars into them.

metallica was really into the new wave british heavy metal scene thats what theyr oruginal sound was like but they wantex more attention they played louder n faster.. plus james said they would get drunk at practice n things would get outa hand thus thrash metal was born xD

the difference is .Metallica made songs to piss off people.. to get attention right? they didnt really want to play that kind of music. but they didnt want to let down their first fans in the beginning, which was why they made the black album in 1991 to become what they really wanted be.. this is the truth.. please you metallicafans copy and paste this to another metallica video . sorry
