@smokedogg989 The drug conviction was not for selling. He was accused of trying to bring it into prison with him for personal use... He had a problem with addiction. Like a lot of addicts, it makes them attempt ridiculous things like what he is accused of doing.
The judge recommended a drug rehab prison while is in prison. Turned out he will be out in less than 4 years. Good for him and his family.
Drug War is a failure and ruins far more lives than it has ever helped.

Boosie might have been/be a "thug" or whatever term you wanna stick to him. But he was a cornerstone of his big ass family. He has a shitload of children and took care of them well. All the government did by sending him to prison for Drugs - (He got 8 Years, the same length as some Pedophiles get for raping children) - is leave a bunch of children fatherless... without a man at home to guide them...His incarceration might actually lead to his children turning out worse than if he was home. SMH.
