Michael Mancuso - A Minor Affair

I entered the 2009 Guitar Center King of the Blues competition which means you sign up at your local store and then play against your choice of backing tracks produced by Multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning Producer/Guitarist Pete Anderson who is most widely known as the musical partner to Dwight Yoakam. I didn't want to just musically blab for three minutes, so my strategy was to create a head, or main theme and improvise the rest. I didn't record the actual performances, but this is more or less what I played in the preliminary round and what advanced me to the store final.
