@MrCorporalTunnel Yea, except Maze Craze (256). After that, Space Invaders has the most with 112. I am pretty sire that #3 is Asteroids with 65, followed by "Video Olympics" with 50 & Breakout with 48. Air Sea Battle/Combat both had 27. BTW, I just confirmed: Defender = 20/Pacman = 16. Damn it. All of this has given me an urge to play some Atari & also, to go through every single game & see which ones have the most settings. Thanks a lot man! LOL. Naw, it'll be fun! It's "research".
@MrCorporalTunnel Nice story, kinda of similar to mine.....but different too..........I mean, when I was about 10yo, each day my mom would send me to the corner store with a "note" to buy her smokes. We were poor then & she gave me exact change. I discovered a store 3 blocks away that sold the smokes for $.05 less. I would save those nickles every day so I could play 1 single game of "Asteroids" every Saturday. When you have only 1 quarter/game...I dearly savored every second of game play!
Indeed. Thanks for pointing out. Didn't play that one much, but I played the Arcade game, "The Amazing Maze Game" mostly because they had it at the laundromat where my brother and I would wash our clothes when were kids. We used to stuff those damn washers so tight, so we'd have more quarters to play with! My mother never knew what we did with the money she sent with us, and we'd always pretend like it wasn't enough so she'd send us with more. haha...
I remember the Space Invaders variations. There were over 100. I don't think any other Atari game had that many. Defender had 26, I think. Pac-Man had 10 or so.
@NoDakBees It was in my, and most of european countries. We even had stores selling pirat versions. Stop living in a bubble, and welcome to the world.
@DarkPatro56 commercials are brutal today, they make me want to peal my skin off they are so bad and annoying.
