HS suspends 100+ dress code violators

More than 100 Richmond High School students were suspended Wednesday for not following new school rules. The students were sent home for not following the school's new dress code policy.

WOWW... That's the stupidest thing I've ever head in my life! They aren't really giving them much of a choice on what to wear! What that girl in the pink had on was perfectly fine and it was a solid like they said wtf is wrong with plaid? Dang if I were at that school I'd be expelled because I wear plaid lol xD

Well since 100+ students were suspended, and their parents were on the students side, they probably just hung out with each other and got a break from school those couple days.

perhaps they are trying to prepare them for their future in correctional facilities after they fail at life due to the substandard education they will be recieving there Before anyone gets irate its sarcasm i don't believe their student body will be criminals and i really don't know what their education system is like but it seems truly stupid and doesnt inspire much faith in their ability to educate if they have a melt down at the sight of more than one color at a time.. OMG-plaid! the horror!

@patsaxon Real world can be like that. But it isn't wrong to question whether it this kind of dress code is right or wrong. They aren't given a choice at ALL. Might as well just go to be a uniform school, since they don't feel like basically ANYTHING is appropriate.

Isabellajaimie23 In the real world, employers does has the right to enforce strict dress codes and you want to keep your job, then you must follow their rules. Many say no vissable tattoos, no body piercing and can also regulate what you wear and what is considered appropriate. Such students and parents needs to agree on what the school board sets up on the dress code policy.

And in the real world, people can wear whatever they want. The real world isn't ONLY made of companies that enforce those rules.

Many companies inforce strict dress codes and do not allow anything with logos, or design. That is what is in the real world, so except it!
