kip - more bodhran comparison videos -series 2 - i'm using an akg c419 clip on condenser mic - no eq - all levels are flat i'm using my black alfonso tipper, a RSE from Ralf at Bodhranshop, a 10$ tipper from MidEast mfg and a modified Promark multirod on the following drums;
16" mike quinlan frame with a 10 year old skin from john millen from thunderheart drums, 15" quinlan pro drum, 14" metloef lambeg from rob forkner at metloef, 15.5" or maybe it's 16" kangaroo skinned drum from Darius Bartlett and a 14" calf skin drum from Albert Alfonso.

  • With top end style of playing, is there a difference in how the triplet is achieved? I'm not having as much success with triplets on standard tipper style. Just curious.
