Here comes the explanation of these bugs. I mostly use the granadetrick here. It's explained a bit in Pt.1: watch?v=aeY35b3P8Bw

Level 7: Flooded Passage
00:05: Just tiny shortcut with the spear :)
00:11: Skip the first drawing-lever. A bigger shortcut if executed perfectly. I did it a bit slow in this video to show what I'm doing. The granade-trick in the end is not needed, but by doing it the successrate to manage the jump is higher :)
00:21: Skip opening the gate. Doesn't save a lot but I think it's a funny example of a not so obvious spot to through the spear. The developers wanted to avoid such a shortcut with a death-trigger on top of the gate, but if you are throwing the spear from the right spot (as seen in my video) you will be able to jump over this trigger :)
00:41: Quite an obvious granade-trick at the first pit in this level.
00:48: Huge shortcut, as you skip all the pressure plates/ levers etc. in the last part of the level. Gosh, the granadetrick really comes in handy :)

Level 8: Jaws of Death
01:08: This level was the first level I discovered the use of the granadetrick. I saw the very fast times on the leaderboards (01:23) and tried to find any ways of skipping the two pits and then I remembered Ti2Ophys video :) However it's still faster to do the first pit the normal way, as the granadetrick also slows Lara down a lot.

Level 9: Twisting Bridge
In this level the granadetricks sometimes just don't work, no matter how well they are executed. By chosing "Play level again" they start working again sometimes...Successrate isn't big though...
01:12: No need to move the twisting bridge :) Obvious granadetrick.
01:20: As the first lair in this level is also the last one I wanted to know if it would be possible to get directly to the end of the level from here. Well...It's not possible, as the developers must've also seen this possibility and didn't put the shooting-switch here in the beginning.
01:38: A granadetrick to skip the (imo) hardest part of this level. It's not very useful in a speedrun though as the successrate of this granadetrick gets near 0% :)

Level 10: Fiery Depths
01:57: Just a tiny not so obvious shortcut. Sometimes it skips the trigger of the flamethrowers too.
02:10: Again a not so obvious jump. It's quite useful in speedruns, as the BBQ-sticks or whatever you may call them won't be instantly walkable if you take the common route...
02:25: Skip the first fighting scene. The developers obviously forgot to put an invisible wall here.
02:37: Granadetrick to clear the part with the flamethrowers and the round platform faster and with no need of triggering the switch.
02:44: Use the grapple to get down the big pit (where the health-altar is).
02:53: Granadetrick to clear the part with the flamethrowers and the round platform faster and with no need of triggering the switch. It's also possible without any granadetrick by jumping onto or behind the turning heads. Try experimenting with it, it's fun!

Level 12: Stronghold Passage
03:03: A funny glitch to freeze the balls in the air. At the end of this video I will show a scene where all the balls are floating in the air :) Not sure if there's any use of this but as these balls are walkable there might be some use. I'll leave this tot he famous Ti2Ophy :)
03:15: No need to draw out the first switch to get the ball from the fire-pedestal.
03:24: Granades and Grenade launcher...A powerful combination ;)
03:37: I guess most of you already know this but I thought I'll show it nevertheless. The tiny squares between the firetraps are safe spots :)
03:59: Just a funny scene where all the boulders are floating :)

Level 13: The Mirrors Wake
04:15: A trick I found at my first playthrough. It's possible to get down into the fire arena in the very beginning oft he level. But yesterday I found out that this is also a fantastic way to get tot he edge oft he map and to a very funny and incredibly glitchy cutscene. Just enjoy :)
The bad thing about this: After the cutscene three things can happen...
1) The last checkpoint is loaded
2) Another checkpoint is loaded at a very funny scene (you see this in the video)
3) The level is completed.
06:18: Taking the other direction here at the edge oft he map to reach the beginning oft he level again :)
07:10: Another thing to explore in the mountains :)

  • @k1awdttt Thanks :) You can skip both of the fights in "Fiery Depths" btw. I found quite a few bunch of new shortcuts after posting this video and replaying some level again. :) I might do a part 3 once I have enough!
