To make it use just one color you use 3 constant chips instead of 3 random chips.

How do you make it just output one specific color? A friend of mine made a "PC rig" where he uses two Colorers (or so he says) on a computer monitor, and when you press a button on the PC tower next to it, it "turns on" the monitor. When he has it "off", the monitor seems to be coated in a shiny black texture of some sort that matches with the black casing of the monitor.
