Bas is our generation's Bruce Lee.

id hate to be in the cage with Bas Rutten

@Godsninja4life it doesnt matter how many arts Bas trained in, his kick WAS a muay thai kick. You can train in 10,000 arts, but you can only do one kick at a time. And Bas Rutten did a muay thai kick. Im sure Bas can do 1000 kicks, but he did ONE muay thai kick in this video. there is no such thing as a MMA kick. Its often times a karate (machida) or muay thai kick. Not some freaky combination of the two.

@Godsninja4life Hes well over 200

@dohboiii They did but not on this show. Watch Superhumans with Stan Lee, they have a Shaolin Monk (a real one from China) hit it with his normal punches and also a one inch punch. Check it out :)

the muay thai fighter is roughly around 130lbs 5'5 and bas is im guessing around 6ft 200lbs witch means the muay thai fighter cant generate anywhere as much energy as bas rutten and on top of that bas has traind in 3 or more martial arts rather then just the one like muay thai.

Bas Rutten is not a legend, he is The Legend!

@bignass04 well yeah but Bas is an MMA fighter...that means he is not just a Muay Thai fighter. I dnt know if i am right but they are comparing MMA fighters to other fighters that just practice one martial art form. I dnt think Bas is a Muay Thai master but he kicks hard...lol.

I hate how they compare him to a Muay Thai "master" (he's only around 30 so unless he trained at the Tiger Schulman's of Muay Thai, he can't be a master). What they didn't say is that Bas is ALSO a Muay Thai fighter and that's where he learned his striking
You have to Love Bas Rutten
