What i did?? Let my family know all by themselves, I'm ok with it and so are they. We just don't think that's something out of this world. Well, even if they though is was, i would just dump them as relatives in the gutter! LIFE!!!... For everyone, my friends! ;-)

I live outside of Philadelphia. And no, the teachers rarely bring up homosexuality at all, some theology teachers may still be homophobic and occasionally bring it up, but as for the student body, we're all pretty open minded.

WOW - that's so far from the world where I grew up. Kids got beaten up regularly if they were suspected of being gay. Nobody was open about it for safety reasons. What city do you live in? Do teachers ever bring up the topic?

They should probably cut this video into 2 parts to make it more linkable.

I go to Catholic school, and there's barely any homophobia at all, if not none. I know some openly gay kids in my school, sorta including myself, and there's virtually no bullying or hate towards any of us. I really do think times are changing, and that our generation can rid the world (and even the church) of homophobia. But that's just my opinion xD

its a figure of speech, he means instead of hating the sinner, it is better to hate the sin, most things in the Bible can only be assumed, never fully known, that is why there are denominations, groups of people who read the Bible and follow Jesus's teachings the way they interpret it. Exactly, it wasn't a teaching of Jesus, Jesus taught to be merciful, even to homosexuals, so when they say hate the wickedness, it means hate the wickedness of the sin
