@fflybz These interviews were filmed in 2004 for the Criterion Collection.

hugh and james did make out in parts that weren't included in the movie. see the bonus features in the dvd set

@motherofpearl13 thank you very much posting this. Which DVD does this come from? I have already DVD of Maurice but not this included. Which one doe you have??? Please please let it me know. I've seen the movie recently and now just finisched read the book. I can't explain how deeply this film touched and touching me. Amazingly beaytiful novel and film!

@motherofpearl13 The interviews were filmed in 2001/2002 as they were setting up to release the Special Edition DVD, so it has been almost 10 years since it was filmed and the guys don't seem to have aged a day since =)
The movie itself still holds up after 23 years so I'd say that is a good sign. Thanks for posting these =)
