This is a short documentation of people's voices and stories on how a group who campaigned for President Noy Aquino & Congressman Bolet Banal in their personal capacity decided to continue beyond the elections.
The Coop is 4,000 member strong, non-partisan and non-sectarian under the Cooperative Development Authority of the Philippines. But in trying to respond and push for change, some people within the coop joined the campaign and volunteered to be poll watchers.
The Sta. Maria della Strada Parish, under Fr. Manny Suarez, Our Lady of Pentecost Parish, under Fr. Bong Tupino, and the Coop led by Boy Nazareno as Chairman and Floy Aguenza as President converted individual efforts of campaigning to a movement for good governance and anti-poverty. Their movement dubbed as SINAG: Simulan Nating Gumawa is an excellent venue where responsible citizenship is nurtured.
This is done together with the KAYA NATIN Movement, in cooperation with Cong. Bolet Banal and the Ateneo School of Government.
