Harrah's Entertainment Inc. addressed that it has initiated and continued a variety of projects to improve on customer service and the customer experience through leveraging new technology during the keynote session at KioskCom Self Service Expo 2008 in Las Vegas.
Starting in the late 1990's with their loyalty and rewards programs, it has continued on through slots and now utilized the Total Rewards cards themselves, and most recently also introduced the Microsoft Surface computers to embrace the use of self-service technology and digital touchpoints for differentiation.
Anyone use these kiosks? I have been at all Harrah's properties very often and don't remember ever using them.
