My grandkids (I am 156 years old) watched this movie and enjoyed it, but kept saying, "Why do they talk so funny?" They kept imitating the Scarecrow saying, "DAH-rah-thee!"

Look carefully at 4:13 to 4:23 and you will see the "munchkin suicide bird" on the right-hand side over the Scarecrow's shoulder. It's a large bird like a crane eating and moving around in the background. In another scene (?) it flaps its wings in the background. This is the bird that supposedly looked like a munchkin hanging himself (you can tell it's a bird, but there is a photoshopped version going around that looks like a hanging little person).
