About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized., (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
Sounds to me that the mic input level is clipping. The sound engineer has to watch the levels from the mic to the board. Cyborg527 cleaned it up by eq-ing the high's out. Thanks!

I was so concerned with the audio of this video that I fixed it and reuploaded the video to my channel, you can find it there. This talk is very important.

his final statement was from the network! HOW BRILLIANT IS THIS GUY? if only they could fix his fucking mic!

great ted talk, if only his mic wasn't horrible.

It's fine with a low volume indeed, this guy is an extremely brilliant man. He was the first person authorized to train Neuro Linguistic Programming trainers. If you want a summary: Go to your teachers-parents meetings and DEMAND the explicit direct instruction model because it cost you 1 billion dollars to find out that it's by far THE BEST way to teach with also the MICHEL THOMAS method of learning.

The audio does suck, however the content is worth putting up with it. I just lowered the volume on my speakers and listened to him at a lower volume.

The sound engineer of this tedx should be ashamed.

Sound quality is totally unacceptable. I wanted to hear what this guy had to say, but unless he whispers my speakers sound like they are going to blow out...Someone fix the audio!
