Nowhere in the Bible does God demand the sacrifice of children. Even Abraham was halted in his son's sacrifice. Yet Jehovah's witnesses will let their children die in the name of "Jehovah" in refusing a life saving blood transfusion. The only gods that demanded child sacrifices were pagan deities like Molech. God demands that his followers refuse to eat blood, yet no believer in the Bible has ever died from doing this. Jehovah's witnesses dus disobey God in favor of mudering their children in the name of Satan.

  • Actually, the bible DOES condone human sacrifice: Exodus 22:29 “Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.” How bout the story of Jephthah? or how bout in Deuteronomy 28:53-58 where the jew god yaweh/jesus demands cannibalism? And I notice you wrote that "Abraham was halted in his sons sacrifice"...sure, but to even suggest something like that is completely and utterly insane.

  • @ExposingXianity666

Numbers 8:16-19 - The firstfruit of the sons were given to do work at the tent of meeting (or temple). Actually they were counted and replaced by men from the tribe of the Levites. They were to become priests unto God. The animals were sacrificed

Exodus 13:15 - firstborn animals were sacrificed and firstborn men were redeemed.

Dt 28 speaks about what will happen during a siege if a nation comes agains them. He doesn't demand it, he warns them of what will happen.

  • @TheScrewedGeneration The story of Jephthah is about a MAN who did wrong. He may have sacrificed his daughter to god, but God did not command it. The Bible is also a history book. The stories it tells are not necessarily of God's approval. Judges 19:22-30 is also a disgusting story. God did not tell the man to do this, but he did it of his own idea, same with Lot who was going to give his 2 daughters to the men of Sodom.

  • Modern scholars (secular and religious) generally agree that "Molech" was a form of sacrifice in which the thing being sacrificed was burned. The Isrealites probably picked this form of worship up from their neighbors and added the practice to their religion. It's not really that odd.

  • Molech... also known as Santa Claus.

  • @worksequalsalvation Divorce has always been part of life. Try to ban it and people will laugh in your face. Humans have been given free will.

And later if they did not satisfy their man, out the door they went. Sound like treatment our creator would be happy with or just some pagan god made up by nomadic Hebrews?

  • @worksequalsalvation The virgins were to marry. Anyways, things were done differently thousands of years back and I don't agree with all of the old testement stuff.

  • @TheScrewedGeneration

Riiiighhht! God was entered into a covenant, held up his end of bargan and did not stop sacrifice, but allowed it.He allowed 7 men to be hung to himself to stop a drought. He commanded a man to burn his son. Not a test as God knows the "very intent of our hearts" correct. I know this might blow a fuse in your hardened deceived heart. Your Bible god commanded slaughter, genocide, except for the virgins which can be used and abused sexually. Bore stroked out.

  • @worksequalsalvation The sacrifice of the virgin was not commanded by God just like Lot offering his 2 daughters to rapists at his door. Those were men who mixed their own beliefs to God's, like you have today. In the Old Covenant those who sinned were often punished with death. In the New Covenant it will be at the judgement.
