Wonderfully made. Prague has changes so much during the last decade! Here you captured the very same desperate atmosphere so typical of every old soviet communist state... Great work, will be looking out for more!

now she's a millionaire!!!

what did the ending mean, when she was staring at those containers that said TEX on them.

I think if you covered more reaction shots on the Director and AD near the end this would be more powerful as a whole. They were fairly astonishment I presume? It was apparent that she was perfect for the part, right? But, this is simply her everyday life. Is that where you were going with it? Either way your work is pretty awesome. It's a breathe of fresh air coming from a guy in film school... In LA! haha (the line about LA was right on the mark, ugly and deep).

I wouldn't really call this a story, it's just brief peek at this woman's life.

The only problem with this is it doesn't end.

Pretty picture... Wish I knew if she got the part or not though.

I want to say I liked it on one hand & on the other hand it was a feeling of wanting more...such as in the scene where she is crying, maybe the impatient & upset director after the scene is either impressed or comments at her unexpected performance, maybe her getting paid & now buying her indulgent habit - smokes and her son a hot dog - along her journey home. I did enjoy the B&W, it was of great quality, but felt cheated.overall I would definitely say a B minus in grade. Wanting to see more...

This film is a bleak, sad, very small window into what seems to be a very "alone" world for this woman and her child. The sense of isolation is obvious, including being in the sound booth. So many unanswered questions -- it leaves you visually and mentally suspended. The black and white creates the effect; the opening music also creates the "alone" feeling for me, watching it. It's interesting how she is asked if "she's ever had a bad day before." Especially the way her day started.

Um I didn't get it. What was the plot? A woman going to work? And then....?
Excellent film! One of the best shorts I've seen.

Really well done! The cinematography and the acting is excellent. There's a Charlie Chaplin comic tragedy quality to it that I really savored.
