The route is set in North Yorkshire, and is operated by various classes of British trains, including class 156s and class 142s. The line runs between Harcroft, a small station in North Yorkshire, and and Collier's Stone, via Scourenton-on-Sea, a small sea-side town on the East coast of Britain.
The route does feature working AWS, but TPWS is not fitted, as line speeds do not really require it.
Harcroft is a small town, but does play host to EWS, who have a large freight terminal located in the area. The access for freight trains, which is primarily Class 60s and 66s, is just north of Harcroft station. Running towards Scourenton, the line heads through Dockcroft, where there is a junction. Trains for Wicker Junction via Bredbury Parkway take the left exit at this junction and head onto the double tracked diesel mainline. NXEC operate this line, so as well as Northern Rail, CrossCountry and TPE operations, HSTs run direct from Harcroft to Wicker Junction every 2 hours.

Continuing down the Harcroft line, the town of Belstoke is next, home to Belstoke University of Science. Belstoke is the main station on the line excluding the two termini at Harcroft and Colliers. Continuing north, the line runs through the rolling hills for a further 2 miles, until it reaches Colliers Stone. Just south of the station is a freight loop, which allows freight trains to sit in it, whilst passenger services pass and go into the station. It is, however, sometimes used for passenger services which have been diverted via the Harcroft line.
Just before Colliers Stone station is a junction, allowing all freight to exit the line, either into the small EWS operated yard, or head off onto the freight only line which gives access to the mainline at Heathton.

  • @andrewsean2006 sorry, the 185 is still not finished.

  • where could i get this train from ?

  • @thachiman this version is no longer available but a newer and more accurate version is being developed.

  • wait you say it's for open bve, but on the website it says bve4

  • @farisjoomun both the train and the route are openbve compatible.

but if you wish to use the train for bve4, only cab view is supported.

  • @SzuperNoO I'm still not done yet, I'm making a better version in fact.

I've already emailed wumpty and his said the model is in public domain

besides i'm not using wumpty's model, i'm using guillyman's model which is also in public domain.

  • @Wongie2009 He just asked you to PM him if you're done.

Have you already emailed Wumpty in order to get permission for the exterior object's modifying and releasing? If yes, hasn't he replied it yet?

  • @suncoolclose i'm not entirely sure, but it's definitely a buzz as far as I'm concerned, of course you can have any guard buzzer sounds into a modern BR train but no worries..

  • Nice vid but how come it buzzes when the guard and driver signals as thats the only error the signals to let the driver know its ready to go beep like on all desiros ;)
