8-18-08 I have my braces on!

Note: I had to upload this a few days after I made it because my computer wouldn't load it at first.
Also, the video cuts off before I finish. What I was saying was the toothpaste has to be non-whitening of any kind so I found Colgate fluride toothpaste. And that if I have time I'll post before I get my bottom brackets on and for sure after I get them on. I get those in a month.

The mouthwash for the canker sores is called Gly-Oxide

And then also the brand of ceramic braces I have are 3M Clarity SL. If you want any information on them just type that in on google and it brings up a bunch of stuff. If you have any other questions just ask.

Oral B Professional home care hygiene kit. is what my ortho gave me witch is just an "Oral B professional triumph 800" or whatever and floss, timer (comes with toothbrush) and floss, mouthwash, and more it is awesome. and extra wax I believe

uggghhh:/ima get the ceramic braces tomorrow im just scared for wen they tighten the wire cuz that hurts and noooo @jason3259 u shuldnt get metal even when ur 14 cuz im 13 and it sux people r gunna call u brace face and if u get in a argument with sum one their gunna pik on ur braces and say sumthing like atleast i dnt have train tracks on my teeth lol and plus no guys/girls will like u,sum will but no u shuldnt

@SuperKellykell Metal braces aren't that bad. If people make fun of you its only because they are jealous or have low self esteem. Don't worry so much about that. When they tighten the wire it doesn't hurt all that bad honestly just for a few days. Take some tylenol or ib profen before you go.

I have really painful sores from my hooks. I have the Damon braces and I got them 2 days ago. Oddly, I can see changes already, LOL. But I think it might slow down and then start picking up again. I really need my mouth to toughen up because these sores are unbearable! I can stand the aching pain form these braces, but the sores??? My mouth is a living hell. The hooks actually dig inside my cheeks and impale them, so sometimes, I feel my cheeks being hooked onto them! Aggh! Worth it though! ahha

@bluefavorites Thats how I felt at first. I thought I had made a HUGE mistake getting braces. But it DOES get better. Be patient. It's worth it!!! :)

as far as the "hooks" rubbing a raw spot on the insides of your mouth is concerned, is that something that you deal with in the beginning, or are you still dealing with that issue?
