I love to watch 'em and hate when they're over! Keep these coming. BTW the Trains Across America videos are pretty sweet. Watch them if you haven't already.

Actually that yard doesn't warrent a yard crew since it appears to be a "outlaying" yard and not a terminal.
-
Actually the road crew would wait on the local while they inspected their train to insure all air hoses was connected, air cocks was open and check the retainer valves before pumping up the air...
Why turn the whole train? As a former brakeman we would just wye the locomotive or just return long hood forward..

-
you scenery is sweet! 5* !! (like "O" Scale).
-
I like O, HO, and N for different reasons.
O, because it was my longest lasting set.
HO is the perfect size for me.
N is convenient because of size.
I like G too, and was thinking about getting into S scale.

-
this is how to make train videos, great effort again
-
omg that was awesome make more!
Excellent photography and sound dubbing - However - Since when does a road diesel spot its train on a seconndary track and yield for a local? More realistically, it would have run around its train, taken the wye, and immediately departed with the new train and old caboose.
What is with the very red ground cover? There is "air" between the cliff rocks and the ground - not a likely geological situation.

Thank you. Um.. I didn't know much about prototypical RR operations at the time... the layout is very freelanced, and poorly created. I am just a member of the club, and shoot my trains on the layout for fun.

how do you control the couplers on the individual cars
TransamJc 4 years ago
Coupling happens automatically, but uncoupling was edited out of the video, to look automatic.
