  • We can thank Bill Bamforth from Bradford in Yorkshire. He taught John Walsh, was a great fan of the band, and was always with vidcam in tow! M

  • Thanks for uploading this piece of history!!

  • @ChrisZ70 u r mental

  • was that an umbrella hat?

  • You are correct. Drummers do know stuff too!

  • Bill Livingstone is some guy!

The March is Brigadier General Ronald Cheape of Tiroran, I think, then; Blair Drummond, then; Charlie's Welcome.

I think. I am only a drummer after all.

  • Just based on the recordings, the performance of this set from the year before ('86 Worlds)was more "in-your-face" (especially the drumming), whereas this is a "sweet" sound. (I like both sounds & listen to both performances!)

Was the other MSR set "The Argyllshire Gathering", "Cameronian Rant" and "John Morrison of Assynt House"?

  • pipeband equivalent to the zapruder film. nice to see this after listening to the audio for the past 20 years. lol

  • This is an absolutely classic MSR. The tunes seem made for each other. I've listened to this set over and over and over and over again in my lifetime - like a mental patient. Amazing to finally see the video to it!
