was that an umbrella hat?

You are correct. Drummers do know stuff too!

Bill Livingstone is some guy!
The March is Brigadier General Ronald Cheape of Tiroran, I think, then; Blair Drummond, then; Charlie's Welcome.
I think. I am only a drummer after all.

Just based on the recordings, the performance of this set from the year before ('86 Worlds)was more "in-your-face" (especially the drumming), whereas this is a "sweet" sound. (I like both sounds & listen to both performances!)
Was the other MSR set "The Argyllshire Gathering", "Cameronian Rant" and "John Morrison of Assynt House"?

pipeband equivalent to the zapruder film. nice to see this after listening to the audio for the past 20 years. lol

This is an absolutely classic MSR. The tunes seem made for each other. I've listened to this set over and over and over and over again in my lifetime - like a mental patient. Amazing to finally see the video to it!
We can thank Bill Bamforth from Bradford in Yorkshire. He taught John Walsh, was a great fan of the band, and was always with vidcam in tow! M
